THE CHALLENGE
This was a budget job for a client that wanted to update their front entrance and present visitors with a nicer first impression of their home.
THE SOLUTION
We kept things simple and elegant and incorporated three different kinds of stone: interlocking, natural, and armour, keeping to neutral colours (beige, brown, and gray) to match the house.
We were especially pleased with the curved interlocking accent at the top of the driveway, giving some dimension to a typical rectangular asphalt driveway.
We also built a beautiful little retaining wall to make up for the grade between the grass and the path with rough and natural looking armour stone around the edge. We used standard small stone patterns at the foot of the stairs, and two gorgeous natural stone slab steps leading up to the front door.
