Since this was a custom home, the adjacent lots posed some concerns when it came to grading. Elevations were taken highly into consideration when our grading plan was implemented.
Since the backyard was such a large area, the industry standard of 2% slope was not suffcient enough to achieve proper water flow. To obtain optimal water flow, a method known as crowning was used to maximize it and ensure no water flowed back towards the house. A solution that proved to be very effective. We are truly proud of the outcome.
